Swimming in Houston

We stayed at a hotel that was supposed to have an indoor, heated pool. Turns out it was indoor...and freezing. Bryce jumped right in and the rest of us hung out in the spa that wasn't hot, but much warmer than the pool.

NASA Space Center

Our trip to NASA was great. They had a lot of hands on activities for the kids. We also got to see live views of the astronauts at the space station which was cool. Mission Control is also in Houston so it was a great time to go with a mission going on. Bryce already wanted to be an astronaut and then they told us that the astronauts who will be going to Mars in the next 20 years are people now between 3 and 20 years old. So, he wants to go to Mars. I think not. I don't even want to think about him going away to college!

Valentine's Day

We had a good Valentine's Day. Nothing too exciting, just pizza and hanging out with the family. The kids liked making a cake and Mia discovered licking the spoon!

Dallas Science Place

We went to the Science Place in Dallas a few weeks ago. They have remodeled and added a lot. It was great. The kids had fun. Here are a few pics.

Update Time

Well, we have all been healthy for a week and it looks like our luck is running out. Both kids woke up this morning with their allergies bothering them so here we go, again! Can you believe this weather? Coming home from lunch, Bryce said "it sure is a nice day for walk"- hint, hint. So, he rode his big wheel around the neighborhood and Mia rode in her pink car.

We had a good week last week since we were finally able to get out of the house. We went to Chuck E Cheese and to see the Veggie Tales movie with friends. Bryce liked it and Mia liked running up and down the hall outside the theater. Oh, well, maybe some day I will get to see a complete movie, again. We signed Bryce up for soccer and he start next month. Ryan is coaching. Thet are both very excited. Bryce also still takes his art class on Fridays, which he loves. His M&Ms class starts back this week at church (Mini Methodists) so he is looking forward to that.

Mia is now running and talking A LOT. She is all girl. I bought her new boots with pink flowers and that is the only pair of shoes she wants to wear now. She brings them to us all the time to put on. She cried when she had to wear her dress shoes today. She likes her purse now and hats, also. I told Ryan to get ready to spend money on clothes and shoes because she is going to be expensive.

We are going to Houston in a couple weeks so vist NASA Spacecenter. Bryce is very interested in space so we are going to take a quick trip down there.

Hope everyone is doing well!
