Halloween

We had a great Halloween. It is also Ryan's birthday so we met him at work for lunch. Then that night we went to the city's carnival and trick or treating. Bryce was Tony Romo and Mia was Cinderella.

Field Trip to the Arboretum

We went to the arboretum for the Pumpkin Festival and it was really neat. There was a house made of pumpkins that the kids loved.

Adventure Guides

Bryce and Ryan had their first Adventure Guide campout in October. They had a great time. I am so glad they are doing this together. I did the program with my dad growing up and loved it. It is a great way for dads and kids to spend time together. Bryce can't wait for the winter campout!

Birthday Pics

We went to the park to take the kids' bday pics. Bryce cooperated and Mia did not. You will notice that she starts to smile once I take the dress off and put regular clothes on (and give her a juice.) That's Mia!

We are moving....maybe

Well, we just came home from our walk thru on the new house and are supposed to close next Friday. I am a little doubtful since nothing has happened they way it was supposed to. We ended up deciding on a new home that is about 15 minutes from where we are now. We are very excited as it has room for us to grow into and the neighborhood is supposed to have a lot of nice amenities for the kids like pools, spray parks, etc. Keep your fingers crossed that it all works out. The plan is to close Friday, move in Labor Day weekend, leave for Disney World 3 days later then come home unpack, buy some furniture and have the kids' birthday party. Whew!

Just annoy your sister!

We were on our way home from a playdate and Mia decided it would be funny to take the top off of her shake and drip it everywhere with her straw. Just hilarious. So, I took it away , but she still had the straw and was trying to fling it everywhere. Bryce was giving me a play by play update from the back and freaking out about it all (which just encouraged her even more). So, I told him "just ignore your sister" and she will stop. Well, then she starts screaming and I look back and he is grabbing her car seat. I asked him what he was doing and he looked at me and said "just annoying her like you told me to". :)

Not a Fan!

After seeing stickers with all of the NFL logos, Bryce has decided he likes the Chargers the best. He wrote it on all of his helmets and filled out the order form to order himself a Chargers jacket. He told Ryan to mail it so the mailman would bring it. So, we went to nfl.com and ordered him one. You can't really find Chargers jackets around here :) Now, if he just doesn't get attacked wearing that in Dallas!
